Mark Belnick does it again. An hilarious member at our acting school, TVI Actors Studio, he shot a CNBC National commercial for Consumer programming in 2008 with director Seth King. He played a man with no money who wanted to fix his house and buy a car. He even had an extra line tacked on during the shoot. Nice.

Tuesday was big night for TVI Actors Studio affiliated artists. On the January 6th episode of the new TNT dramatic series, Leverage, two TVI actors appeared. Both Stacey Moseley and George Williams were in the episode and as if that wasn’t enough, they were both cast by TVI teacher, Scott David. Scott works for April Webster Casting and starts his Auditioning for Prime Time TV class on Saturday January 21.
Everyone has been on pins and needles regarding the possibility of an upcoming Screen Actors Guild strike. Authorization ballots, which are still not a definitive mark of a stand still, were supposed to have been sent out January 2nd but a fracture in ranks has managed to delay until a national board meeting convenes January 12-13. The moral of the story, keep working on your craft and be in class.
Greg Schmalbach a consultant at TVI Actors Studio, has recently landed the role of Land Surveyor in the episode Safe on Fringe, which aired not too long ago. Ross Meyerson from Julie Tucker Casting is the casting director on Fringe.
