Long time TVI Member, Mark Konrad has been cast by Bradley Baron Casting in an industrial film for the major global company Roche pharmaceuticals that will be filming March 30th & 31st.
Happy Birthday to NY actor and one of the cites most innovative actors headshot photographers, Nick Coleman.
Besides being one of the up and coming NY actors, his respected headshot studio has brought recognized actors from the Broadway stage, to the actors on NY Primetime and Daytime TV series.
He also is an advisor at the NY TVI Actors Studio and contributor for the Actors Blog Network, Headshot Blog.
TVI NY consultant Scott Guthrie will soon be tackling the role of Trevor Graydon in “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The play will be showing at the Media Theatre in Media, PA from May 6th through June 7th. Scott is represented by Peggy Hadley Enterprises.
Full time students Bruno Xavier and Hannah Daisy Brandt snap a pic between TRACK classes at TVI New York. Bruno, a native Australian, is spending four months on a student visa in New York City studying acting at TVI and auditioning. Originally from Berlin Germany, Hannah is also in the United States to study acting at TVI New York full time.
Longtime TVI New York member Mark Konrad is spending some time on the other side of the Hudson filming for his new role. Mark was recently cast in the film “Around the Way” playing the part of Councilman George Lockwood.
TVI New York member Dionne Audain recently shot an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit opposite Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni! Dionne completed Jonathan Strauss‘ class at TVI NYC in Spring 2008. You may also remember her appearances on The Wire and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Theater for the New City is holding a new showing of “All Aboard the Marriage Hearse” from April 23rd to May 16th. Nick Coleman, current director of TVI NY will return to the stage in his original leading role as Sean in this hit comedy written and directed by Matt Morillo.

Famed New York Talent Agent Michael Rodriguez who has been at numerous agents in New York for over a decade has become owner of the UGLY Talent Agency as it officially changes it’s name to “The Roster” on March 23rd. Mr. Rodriguez was at TVI Actors Studio and one of half a dozen events taking place at the acting school in the Actors Equity Building on 46th and Broadway.

What makes the TVI Actors Studios around the world different then most other acting schools, drama conservatories and theatre departments at colleges and universities?
While there are many extraordinary acting programs in most major cities, TVI offers the students supplemental career strategy advice. These weekly consultations are offered free of charge for all the acting school’s students that pay a small supplemental fee to me a TVI member. While the acting student at TVI in New York and Los Angeles may meet with their career coaches more often then weekly, most students have projects, acting business tasks and marketing matters to take care of prior to their next meeting.
TVI career coaches are all professional actors with active acting careers in Films, TV, (daytime and primetime) and on Broadway. Most acting coaches at TVI in NY and LA have formal theatre educations.
