TVI Career Coach Gameela Wright reprised her recurring role on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”
TVI Career Coach Tim Intravia landed a major audition for a recurring character on the award-winning series “Boardwalk Empire,” and led a special SRO audition workshop with Erica Jensen of James Calleri Casting.
TVI Actors Studio New York Career Coach and professional actress Gameela Wright recently re-connected with Law &Order:Criminal Intent head of casting Kevin Kuffa at a TVI workshop in January.
Gameela had already appeared on “Criminal Intent” twice in the recurring role of NYPD Detective Amanda Giles. Back then, Kevin was working as an assistant on the series, but he remembered her.
We’re happy to say that Gameela will reprise her recurring character on Wednesday, March 2nd. Be sure to check back on the website for the air date!

2011′s Actors Expo was held February 12th on Euston Street. In Central London at The Camden Centre.

LONDON’S ACTOR EXPOThe NY actor Matt DeCapua and TVI spokesperson, speaking to a group of English actors at the Actors Expo that was held last Saturday at The Camden Centre, across from St Pancras Rail station.
The TVI Actors Studio booth was humming all day as attendees of the expo came by seeking info on the acting classes offered in NY, LA, London and Sydney.

The TVI Actors Studio staff is off to London this weekend for the Actors Expo event this Saturday in the Camden Centre in Euston Street.
TVI’s Lauren Milberger, Matt DeCapua and Alan Nusbaum, in addition to LA casting director Zora Dehorter will be meeting UK actors at the Expo.
At 12:45pm, both Zora and Alan Nusbaum will be conducting a panel discussion, “Acting in America” at the Expo.
Last Saturday, the acting students at TVI Actors Studio in NY had the opportunity to work with award winning casting director Kim Miscia, CSA. Kim casts the TV series “Gossip Girls”, Blue Bloods” , “Delocated”, plus TV pilots.
In addition to Kim, the actors also worked with John Andrews from Mark Saks Casting.
Greeting actors that were participating in last weekend workshop with casting directors Kim Miscia and John Andrews from Mark Saks Casting Tim Intravia and Gameela Wright are both working actors in New York, and between auditions and bookings assist actors as career coaches at TVI Actors Studio in New York.
