Amy Gossels Casting is a busy casting office that casts for theatre (Disney’s Mary Poppins on Broadway), promos, television (2010 season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice), film (Something’s Gotta Give, Godsend, Milk & Honey, and Picture of Dorian Gray, to name a few) and commercials (Wrigley Gum, Orbit Gum, Kodak, Norelco, AARP, etc.) ! They have currently cast The Ride (from the creators of the Blue Man Group).
Currently, Eliza is the associate casting director for “Father’s Day” (with David Moscow). Eliza will be at our New York location April 25, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
Lauren Port is a Casting Assistant at MelCap Casting, working in film, television, voiceover, and theatre. She has assisted with Broadway productions of Death of a Salesman, Seminar, Stick Fly, and Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, just to name a few! She has worked with Second Stage on several productions including How I Learned to Drive, and The Blue Flower. Lauren has also assisted with many regional theatre companies such as ACT, Ars Nova, Arena Stage, and The Williamstown Theatre Festival. She is currently the associate on Steel Magnolias (Sony for Lifetime). Recent feature films include Love and Other Drugs and Blue Valentine. Independently, Lauren has cast FanBoy and Joan: 316 for The ExtraPulp Ensemble as well as readings of The Bird and the Two Ton Weight in connection with Syracuse University. Lauren holds a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University.
Lauren will be hosting a one night workshop at TVI Actors Studio in NYC on Tuesday, April 24th, at 7:30 pm. We are ecstatic to have her with us!
We are so excited to have Kimberly Graham of Judy Henderson Casting host a one night workshop at TVI. She served as casting associate for the television shows Homeland (Golden Globe winner for Best Drama 2012) and Babylon Fields. Kimberly has been involved in casting for feature films, short films, commercials, and theatre (Broadway and Off Broadway).
The workshop takes place on April 18, 2012 at 7:00 pm, at TVI Actors Studio in NYC.
