Jodi Angstreich Comes to TVI NYC!
Jodi Angstreich is a freelance casting associate, currently residing at Laura Rosenthal Casting. Most recent projects include Kill Your Darlings (Feature Film with Daniel Radcliffe) and Adult Children of Divorce (Feature Film starring Adam Scott, Jessica Alba, Jane Lynch). Past projects include Mildred Pierce (Emmy winning mini series with Kate Winslet for HBO), The Art of Getting By (Feature Film with Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts), Rampart (Feature Film with Woody Harrelson) and many more. Jodi also spent six years at CBS working on pilots and current series.
Jodi will be at TVI in New York City on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
Lauren Port of MelCap Casting Comes to TVI
Lauren Port is a Casting Assistant at MelCap Casting, working in film, television, voiceover, and theatre. She has assisted with Broadway productions of Death of a Salesman, Seminar, Stick Fly, and Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, just to name a few! She has worked with Second Stage on several productions including How I Learned to Drive, and The Blue Flower. Lauren has also assisted with many regional theatre companies such as ACT, Ars Nova, Arena Stage, and The Williamstown Theatre Festival. She is currently the associate on Steel Magnolias (Sony for Lifetime). Recent feature films include Love and Other Drugs and Blue Valentine. Independently, Lauren has cast FanBoy and Joan: 316 for The ExtraPulp Ensemble as well as readings of The Bird and the Two Ton Weight in connection with Syracuse University. Lauren holds a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University.
Lauren will be hosting a one night workshop at TVI Actors Studio in NYC on Tuesday, April 24th, at 7:30 pm. We are ecstatic to have her with us!
Kimberly Graham Hosts At TVI NY
We are so excited to have Kimberly Graham of Judy Henderson Casting host a one night workshop at TVI. She served as casting associate for the television shows Homeland (Golden Globe winner for Best Drama 2012) and Babylon Fields. Kimberly has been involved in casting for feature films, short films, commercials, and theatre (Broadway and Off Broadway).
The workshop takes place on April 18, 2012 at 7:00 pm, at TVI Actors Studio in NYC.
Melissa Moss, of Bowling – Miscia Casting, will be at TVI NY!
Bowling & Miscia Casting is one of the city’s busiest top-tier casting offices. Melissa Moss is currently working on the hit television series “Blue Bloods” for CBS. Recent credits include the television series “The Beautiful Life”, and “Crossing Jordan”, as well as the television films “ Rock” and “ Rock 2: The Final Jam” starring The Jonas Brothers.
This one night workshop will be held March 6, 2012 at TVI New York at 7:30.
Casting Director Alaine Alldaffer for Playwright’s Horizons at TVI New York!
On Wednesday, February 22nd, casting director Alaine Alldaffer for Playwrights Horizons will host a workshop at TVI New York. She is currently casting “This” with Parker Posey for Playwrights Horizons, and “Fences” directed by Kenny Leon for the “Huntington.”
Ms. Aldaffers Credits include “Grey Gardens”(B’way and PWH), Dead Man’s Cell Phone with Mary Louise Parker, the upcoming musical “Burnt Part Boys”. TV credits include Knights of Prosperity aka Let’s Rob Mick Jagger for ABC, Assoc. credits include “ED” ( NBC) ,”Monk” (USA), Theaters include the Longwarf ,Soho Rep and ACT. Festivals include Williamstown and Humana. She cast for The Huntington Theater in Boston and the Women’s Project NYC.
