Thursday night at TVI New York is Improv night!
Join TVI teacher Joe Osheroff as he teaches you what to do when you don’t know what to do!
Every actor needs to be able to improvise. A brilliant performance can’t be scripted. Sure, the lines are written down (usually!). But the inflections? What your body
is doing? The timing? All that—and more—is up to you.
Another great day of classes at the New York studio today.
This afternoon, our Hybrid conservatory students are enjoying their voice and diction class with our excellent voice specialist Minna Taylor.
It’s Monday! It’s the start of a new week, a new opportunity to achieve your dreams, and most importantly a busy day at TVI New York.
We have a full slate of classes on the cards for Monday night at the New York Studio.
Our Hybrid Conservatory actors are in full swing in their 16 week course, today they have a superb class on Alexander Technique with Patrick Mellon, and later they will be joining some of New York’s newest and brightest talents in Joe Osheroff’s Acting Foundations class.
Also on Monday night, we welcome in Justin McCarthy for his class on Indie Film audition and booking technique. Justin is a writer, director, producer and actor, and nobody knows better than him how to make it in the independent film industry, having recently written and directed two feature films, starring Courtney Cox and Vincent Gallo.
As you can see it’s a busy night at the New York studio, but as always, we want to help you on your journey to stardom, so if you’re interested in anything we have going on a Monday night, call the studio on 212-302-1900.
The old saying “It’s not what you know, as much as who you know” is still very much true in today’s industry. The best way to achieve your dream of having a successful film and television career is how many contacts you have with talent agents and casting directors.
TVI’s Two Week Actors Conservatory and Talent Industry showcase is the most comprehensive way to launch your film and TV career in the shortest possible time. This unique course will allow you to receive advanced training in auditioning, then the chance to network with 20 different talent agents, casting directors and other industry professionals, in just two weeks.
This unique program has already been given advanced dates for 2013, but there are still places remaining in the fall course in New York. The pre-registration saving does end on soon though, so I’d advise you to secure your place as soon as possible.
