Lauren Sieczkowski, TVI Actors Studio member, just booked a principal day player roll on the sketch comedy TV show ‘The Whitest Kids You Know‘. The show is in its third season, and will be airing on the Independent Film Channel in early 2009.

TVI Actors Studio former member, Traci Hovel, continues to work all over New York in theatre, television and film. She is currently in the Off-Off-Broadway run of American Girls, just wrapped the film Kingdom of Gravy and will be on a few episodes of ABC’s What Would You Do? Plus – this Thursday you can catch Traci as Patti, opposite New York Dame Brooke Shields, on NBC’s Lipstick Jungle. Erica Jensen, from Calleri Casting (Lipstick Jungle) will be at TVI NY a few times over the next few months, be sure to call if you want to meet her.
TVI Member George Williams can add the new TNT drama Leverage to his already extensive resume. Leverage stars Academy Award-Winner Timothy Hutton and will begin airing this fall. The show is cast by April Webster, whose staff often does workshops at TVI.
George attributes his booking success to constantly attending casting director workshops. While a member at TVI, George has also appeared on The Middleman, American Heiress, House and E-Ring.
This weekend TVI was lucky to play host to casting director Ross Meyerson. Ross, casts for Julie Tucker Casting, works on such New York Hits as “Rescue Me“and “Damages“. Their office just began casting the new Edie Falco series “Nurse Jackie.” If you haven’t met Ross yet, you really should check out his intensive.
TVI member, Kelly McCracken, just booked the role the Air Force Col. Chief of Staff at Rabat Air Force Base in Iraq on the new NBC show “My Own Worst Enemy”. Kelly had the pleasure of doing not one but 2 scenes with Christian Slater & Mike O’Malley. While in a scene, Christian suggested to the director that 3 of his lines should be given to Kelly. Sounds like that Christian Slater is either a real stand up guy, or he doesn’t know his lines. All and all, congrats to Kelly. The episode is “MOWE” (ep. #6) and it airs Monday Nov. 17 at 10 pm on NBC.
TVI Actors Studio member Michael J. Fulvio was just seen in a reading of Thomas Middleton’s The Changeling with The Hidden Staircase Theatre Company. Michael recently graduated from the National Theater Conservatory with the Denver Center Theater Company. While there he appeared in the world premiere of Plainsong directed by Kent Thompson.
TVI actor, Ryan Deal, who recently signed with Superior Talent, just voiced several characters on Fox’s hit cartoon, American Dad. On a trip wine tasting in Santa Barbara, Ryan just happened to meet a producer for the show who recognized his unique vocal talent and the rest is history. Congrats, Ryan.
Longtime Bi-Coastal TVI Memeber and resident mime, Christopher LeCrenn, can no longer be silent in an ad for a new project for Girls Gone Wild! In the spot owner Joe Francis is walking down the street when LeCrenn tags along after him, talking non-stop about a great idea for his new tv show.
LeCrenn is now in New York shooting the SAG film “Irrefutable” cast by Kelli Lerner. LeCrenn was called in for this film one week after meeting Lerner at one of TVI’s workshops!
Tvi New York receptionist Meredith Snyder has officially become a stage mom.
Meredith recently signed her little star Benny “The Bullet” Silverman with The Animal Actors Agency. Good Boy Benny!
TVI New York Member, Elizabeth Pawlowski, was just cast as Janet Van De Graaff in National Tour of The Drowsy Chaperone with NETworks Touring Company. This working actress just returned from the National Tour of The Producers, playing the role of Ulla. Elizabeth recently took Eric Woodall’s Musical Theatre class at TVI Actors Studio. Longtime TVI Actors Studio Office Administrator, Sara Blindauer married her fiance, Dan Beck on Saturday, October 4, 2008. The wedding, long in the planning stages (as anyone at TVI Studios Los Angeles can attest to), occurred in front of 130 friends and family members in Woodbridge, Virgina.
The happy couple plans to honeymoon in the Cayman Islands early next month.
