World renown Casting Director Pat McCorkle is beginning her 4 week Master Class tonight May 12th at 7pm. In her class you will be learning how to master the technique of auditioning for TV/Film. Pat is currently working on an Off Broadway play and is casting for a Columbia feature film.

One hundred plus actors and Queensland talent agents and casting directors converged at Bond University in Robina, Australia tonight to meet and hear two time Emmy Award winning casting Director Debi Manwiller speak about casting the Hit TV series “24” and about the casting process in Los Aneles.
Special guests that showed up included Lee Donehue from the popular industry newsletter “Quiet on Set“, former American Casting director Tom McSweeney who has been casting the past 12 years in Australia and John Stewart from TAFTA in the Gold Coast,TVI’s Alan S Nusbaum moderated the event this evening.

Kim Miscia is back to teach another of her famous one-day intensives Aug 29th at 2. Kim, who has been busy casting such TV shows, as Kings, Mad Men, and Medium, has been busy with her partner Beth Bowling. Kim’s office (Miscia/Bowling Casting) is now casting NY’s own Gossip Girl.

Kim Miscia, of Bowling/Miscia Casting, one of NY’s busiest primetime television and film casting directors and the new casting directors of the hit TV series Gossip Girl is teaching a Primetime TV Intensive at TVI Actors Studio.
